Tega Cay

In the Metro Area, we have Tega, which is a fast-growing suburb in the city, currently home to nearly 11,000 people. However, much of its growth was seen during the last few years, with the population rising by 5.2%. One of the reasons for the growing number of people moving to Tega Cay is that home prices are an average $369,000. Despite the well-priced homes, Tega Cay is home to a golf course open to anyone who wants to spend a few hours playing. However, if you don’t want to golf, you can rent a boat out in Lake Wylie. Tega Cay is around 20 miles south of Charlotte, making it a half-hour drive if there is no traffic via the I-77 N.

Fort Mill

It is amongst a growing more established township in the city, with a current population of 19,848 people. The area has grown by 13.2% in this past year, and in particular, it is growing the fastest around Baxter Village. However, one of the reasons for its growth has to be the low median price of a home, which was slightly over $350,000. Living in Fort Mills is for people who want to enjoy some peace and quiet that comes with small-town living while still giving you easy access to the city’s center. It is a 25’minute drive off I-77.

Waxhaw
