Hired to move a studio grand piano. Scheduling and quote easy and timely. Very competitive price. The three movers were on time, polite and very efficient. All wore masks throughout the contact. Would give highest recommendation to hire this company.

WE contracted our move with Road Haugs after previously contacting other movers as we made our move to Florida from North Carolina. They arrived as scheduled and worked efficiently and courteously to load our belongings into the truck. Less than 48 hours later, they arrived at our new place and unloaded without any issue. They even reconfigured my sectional sofa to fit our new home. We were immensely pleased with Road Haugs and would not hesitate to recommend them for a move.

Because of a scheduling conflict, we needed movers scheduled within 10 days. This was virtually impossible, but Shannon managed to find a cancellation slot for us and a group of 4 guys to make sure everything would go smoothly.We had two storage units full of appliances, furniture, media, and other things that needed to go into our new home. It took less than half a day for Chris and the rest of the crew to load everything on to one truck, gently guide everything into the new house, and wish us well for the weekend. This is my third move in two years, and although I hope I don't have to do it again any time soon, Road Haugs will be the first call we make when we're ready to move again!

Road Haugs moved a 1,200 lbs marble statue from uptown Charlotte to south Charlotte. They crated it, used a hoist, navigated stairs and marble floors. They were on time, professional and careful.

This is absolutely the best moving experience we've had. Shannon and her team are top notch. Setting up the move was quick and easy. We did everything electronically, including the inventory list. Estimate was reasonable and accurate. Packers and movers were extremely careful. Loved that they can store the items at their facility until we have our plans in place.

A little late on my review since we moved back early August-The company I bought my piano from said they were recommended for Moving pianos and also said they do full moves too- and I thought I can trust them to move a piano, I’m sure they can move everything else just fine-Floyd ran the team of guys- Allen TyroneMikeRitchieJpWe moved from about 6000 square feet over two days, furniture being disassembled and reassembled-Guys we’re there bright and early ready to go, and man they worked- really hard-No breaks, from sun up to sun down - I bought them lunch both days and they picked it up on the way to our new house and even beat me there to get started again-They ran the operation very professionally- they took great care of all of my items, wrapping and packing- to not get damaged in transport- not once did I feel like it was a group of guys just doing this for a weekend job or extra money- They were what I would epitomize as professional movers- I never felt like they were working the clock - when I say these guys worked hard it was literally every second for two days straight-Although they never complained, I wish I knew they didn’t use dolly’s to get boxes upstairs , I packed some pretty heavy and the guys carried them all by hand upstairs so I wish I could have made that part easier on them because they were already working so hard-Anyways , I would never use another company for moving - definitely ask for Floyd to run the group and if you can manage to get the rest of the guys too you won’t be disappointed-

She also was transparent about time frames and expectations which was very much appreciated. The moving crew was great as well. They showed up on time, went over everything immediately and began loading. The crew worked diligently and quickly. We were very impressed with how much they were able to get done for our move. Chris and his team delivered a new baby grand piano to our home. The piano was to go on the second floor but due to the size of the piano and the layout of the stairwell it was not able to be carried up to the loft. Chris and his team rented a lift and came back and raised the piano to the second floor and got it set up and ready to play with no damage. They took special care of making sure the floors were not scratched and we were pleased. I highly recommend them.The above was in December 2019. Fast forward to August 2020, we were so pleased with the previous experience that we used Road Haugs to move our entire household contents to our new home in Waxhaw. They were on time, very courteous, took very good care of our furniture and made sure the piano was moved without any damage lowering it from the loft back to the first floor and then to our new house. Moving day is very stressful but it was made better by Shannon, Joe and their team. I highly recommend their company.

Bruce gave us an estimate on a Monday and we were able to get a slot for the following Wednesday. Shannon, in the office, was great about getting info to us and answering questions. Floyd and his crew worked hard in some stifling heat and had a great attitude. Final price was just under estimate. Quality company.

Fantastic experience with this company. We were skeptical of moving company's after our last experience with a company called All Seasons Moving. However, this entire process was great. We received a detailed quote, which was expected to take 5 hours. The men got the job done in 3 hours, saving me a lot of money. Very professional movers. Extremely nice guys. I had hired movers who were unable to get my lengthy couch into the 2nd floor living space. I called Road Haugs Friday evening and they were very responsive to setting up a time and confirming that they could hoist my couch. We were able to schedule the 'hoist' after only a couple of days and they were on time, fast, and very professional. I was so happy they could do it and wish I would've used them for all my moving needs. The Road Haugs crew (Bruce, Jeff & Matt) were running late, the driver called out. Bruce jumped in from the office, they arrived as communicated and, the best way to describe it was...they cared!! They packed, packaged and created cardboard walk walks in the two houses. The treated the furniture like we were royalty. Hard workers and they never lallygagged! Would recommend and use again!

Allow me to justify the five stars. First of all, I actually went to their office (which I don't think anyone ever does) to talk about possibly securing their services for a move. I found them amongst other companies on google but they stood out because of the fact that they are a family business and a small business and yes had excellent reviews.I was met by Shannon and Bruce which was a joy. Shannon was extremely professional, helpful and respectful of my time as she provided all of the needed information in a concise manner. Additionally, before I even left her office she had already emailed. I'm big on customer service and efficiency so it was a no brainer to go with them.The communication between scheduling the move and move day was seamless. In fact, I was the one who dropped the ball the day before as Bruce persevered to confirm the move. He was relentless in trying to reach me which I am so very grateful for. Keep your phones on the day before people!!!!Chris called when he was fifteen minutes away on move day, showed up as expected with a crew. The entire crew was professional, efficient with their time, helpful etc. I can't say enough about the good care they took of our things. When I say professional, they taught us a thing or two about moving.In fact, my husband and I own a business and we're moving in a couple months. I'm requesting Chris and the same crew. I don't know if it's possible but I'm sure going to try. You can trust these folks to take care of your things as if it's their own. Well worth the money.

When I called, I needed to move my piano within a few days time period. They were able to fit my move in during that time frame. They did a great job! They arrived within the window of time given. The delivery was earlier than expected but they called to verify that the new time would be convenient. The guys doing the work were very pleasant and professional. My move was simple. One bedroom and a living room UNTIL we got to my new destination. I didn't even think to make sure the sectional would fit up 3 flights of stairs (4 story town house/my couches were going up there). So of course they did not fit.Will and Joe improvised and were able to lift my sectional, from the ground to the rooftop patio, piece by piece, with a harness to the 4TH FLOOR! Even with all this they completed their job in a very timely manner.Needless to say, extremely please. Joe and Will, I'll be calling when I gotta get this stuff out of here! LOL!!!

I recently hired them to move and deliver an upright piano. This place was recommended by our piano instructor. Right from the time I contacted them, the whole process was so easy. Well coordinated and no surprises on prices. We were given a 2 hr window and got a call 30 min ahead to let us know they were on their way. They wrapped the piano, used blankets, secured it on the truck and delivered it with no damages. Will definitely do business again. Thank you Road haugs.

I called Road Haugs because of the great reviews. I was not disappointed. My moving date and even the place changed several times and still they could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The guys took great care with some really fragile antiques and everything arrived and was placed in its destination in perfect condition. Four guys loaded me, four different guys unloaded me and every one of them was personable, polite, friendly and respectful of me and my stuff. I would definitely use them again

RH did a fabulous job of moving and storing our household items. Shannon was great at communicating the details and staying in touch each step of the way. My experience was awesome from start to finish! Shannon worked with me to schedule my move on 10.12.19. The quote was good and Jeff, Charles and Demetrius were on time to meet me at my storage facility on time and ready to go. They only took 1 hr-2hrs. To get me moved and did a great job. Jeff, Dave and Wendell were my movers. I found Road Haugs searching google and saw all of the great reviews. I have moved several times and I was very happy with my crew. These guys worked quickly and handled everything with care. I moved from a 3 bedroom 2 bath house with an office and 3 car garage to a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment, so I had to make 3 stops to deliver items to different locations. These guys knocked it out of the park by getting it all done in 4 hours. I was impressed. Jeff, Dave and Wendell...my offer still stands...when you are in Waverly area, let me know because I owe you guys a couple beers. Thanks for the great job and I will use Road Haugs again for my next move.

She really put my mind at ease with all my questions concerning insurance, options for delivery and security of our items. Our move required a tractor trailer enough to hold 15k lbs. For this amount the move took two days. One day to load the truck ( secure the truck at their monitored location) and the 2nd day to deliver. The crew was on time and very respectful. They worked very well together and dligently to ensure the move process was successful. I was impressed as to how meticulous the crew was ensuring nothing would get damaged . They wrapped my already secured furniture that I had wrapped previously. Padded it with additional blankets that they provided. Also the premises was securely protected, from the flooring to the stairway rails to the carpet. I love the attention to details. Like unloading items perfect rows of stacked boxes easily accessible for short people like me.At the end of the move all I could say to my husband is, why didn't we use this Company the other five moves ago.... From Price,(competitive compared to other companies) Promptness, Protection, Respectability and Attention to Details, this company provided Impeccable Service!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH. I was very satisfied with my move by Road Haugs. They are expert piano movers and this was the second time they carefully moved my baby grand. Shannon was fantastic at getting everything scheduled and confirmed. Jeff and his team were phenomenal - they protected at-risk corners in my home with moving blankets, they wrapped every piece of furniture with care, they worked without taking any breaks, they stacked everything so neatly to maximize the truck space and ensure safe transport, they worked fast and had great positive attitude, despite the scorching heat outside. Then, after emptying my house and loading the truck, they offloaded and artfully stacked everything into my 10'x20' storage unit! Oh, and they finished early!! If you need quality movers that will really take care of your things and work fast, ask for Jeff's crew!

I have a Perkoff baby grand piano. I recently moved and called Road Haugs to move it for me. I had originally reserved another company that only moved pianos. They came to my home and was there no more than 10 minutes when they announced that they were unable to remove the legs. They said that their boss said the legs are typically impossible to remove on a Perkoff, and to not force taking them off. I appreciate them not continuing. They obviously didn't know what they were doing. These guys recommend I call Road Haugs. Chris and Paul came out the next day and had no problems with removing the legs and took great care in wrapping it and handling the piano. I was closing on the sale of my house in a couple of days and they worked me in their schedule. They were a lifesaver! I am currently living in a rental while building a home and will call them when time to move again. Chris said that in his 5 years of service, he has never had a piano he could not move. I'm glad my piano didn't change his record! Nice folks!

We are completely satisfied with Road Haugs. We needed to move thinking we would need two companies; one for our grand piano and another for our furniture. Well, Road Haugs does it all. Polite, professional, strong. They know their business but will listen, consider, and advise. If they can move and protect your Steinway, they can move all your stuff. I hope not to move again but if I do it will be with Road Haugs.

Well I had a great experience with Road Haugs moving! Three men were sent and as soon as they got there immediately they had me do a walk around with them and show them everything I wanted/needed moved. Once that was over, a little bit of paperwork and they got at it! No messing around! A little bit of polite chit chat here and there but didn't stop, just kept working. Very professional and friendly! As for my quote, it was a great process. Paperwork was sent to evaluate my possible quote. Considering the info I turned it I received my quote, so when the guys finished sooner than expected my quote was adjusted to a lesser amount. Very nice surprise! Went into this expecting one thing (higher quote) and came out with something different (lower dollar amount), whoo hoo!! For me, from beginning to end this was a great experience and would definitely recommend and would use them again myself. Thanks Road Haugs!!

I used Road Haugs for moving and storage. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and very responsive to my questions and needs from start to finish. I also appreciated that they had a third-party vendor available to handle my washer/dryer and television deeds. Most places I spoke with did not have that. I enjoyed working with everyone I spoke with on the phone and met with at my home and would use them again. Thank you for doing a great job.

I found Road Haugs through google search and I must say the reviews were correct about this company. Shannon in the office was awesome with taking care of scheduling my move and communicating the estimate!!!.But let me tell you about the team who came out to move me into my new home.Bruce, Garnett and Elijah were the best.These men were punctual, respectful, courteous and took real care of my furniture and home.I dont plan on moving anytime soon but if I have to I will definitely use Road Haugs again.

They charge too much for their services. They expect Shannon the receptionist to do everything, and come up with answers for the things the movers do. I also had to be fitted in to get my stuff moved from their storage that was in the same city. I still have to find my screws to my mirror that goes to my dresser that's sitting on the floor. I was told to take out the drawers and see if they are in there, OR call the manufacturer to find out what type of screws they were. 1200 dollars paid, BUT I'm just left high and dry. Even if I find them, it's was NOT my responsibility. The movers were nice of course, but I will not recommend this company to anyone that has to move.Update: I would like to express my gratitude to the OWNER who reached out to rectify the situation. He came over to my home personally, went and got the correct screws, and put up my mirror by himself!!!! WOW!!! I was speechless... Thank God for this man. Some of us women do not know anything about furniture, so I am soooo happy right now. And he was very handsome too.... Lol... Thank you Road Haugs😁😁😁

Typically people reserve reviews for those companies that do them wrong in some way, but I'm happy to say that I'm writing for the opposite reason. Having moved a lot over the years, up and down the east coast, I can honestly say these guys are the absolute best movers I've ever worked with, full stop. Friendly, professional and expert-level in every way. There is a reason the piano stores in town recommend these guys. If you're moving, use these guys. It's that simple.

Best of the best! Have used Road Haugs numerous times for piano moving (grand piano) and couldn't be happier. Professional, prompt, courteous and most importantly, meticulous in handling of the pianos.Recently had them unload a 7 foot Steinway grand from a delivery truck and then set up the piano in my studio. Shannon and Joe & his crew did a great job in providing a reasonable estimate to move a used piano from Matthews to Waxhaw, NC. They also accommodated a move of a big dining hutch from my garage to the 2nd Floor. The crew was very courteous and professional. They were also extremely careful in moving the piano to the 2nd Floor successfully and around some tight corners with no damage to the walls or my hardwood steps and floors!I would highly recommend them and use there service for future moves.

This was by far the most pleasurable moving experience I have ever had. I didn’t have to lift a finger and get all my belongings were packed with care beyond my expectations. Highly recommended and will use them again.I hired Road Haugs to move my piano long distance and store it until I move into my new house in a couple of months. The two crew members who completed the pick up were very professional and knowledgeable about the proper methods for moving pianos.They came prepared with all of the correct tools for the job which included going down a set of deck stairs and rolling the piano through my backyard. I was very impressed with how efficiently they worked and will certainly spread the good word about Road Haugs.

Joe and his brother Jeff were both professional in moving me from my old apartment to my new one.
